The second 200 highest frequency English words are covered in this exercise. (The 200 highest frequency words are covered by the Fish Frenzy exercise in Fast ForWord Reading One. How Students Work on Fish Frenzy In this exercise, the student builds on skills and content experienced in Fast ForWord Reading Level 1 Flying Fish. The student works with each group of words in 3 stages. At all stages, the task is to click on the fish with the word that matches the word spoken by the pelican. In the first stage, the fishing pelican pronounces a word while the written word appears in a speech bubble. Then, spoken and written words fly across the screen on fish. In the second stage the pelican pronounces a word, but the written word is not displayed. Then Fish Frenzy displays KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS written words, but these words are not pronounced. The third Button Keyboard Shortcut stage is like the second, but Paw Space bar now the student is presented Response Down arrow with words from multiple word sets. 56 | Fast ForWord Reading Level 2
